 UN ALTRO MONDO POSSIBILE C'È
(Another world is possible)

An artist is not just someone who can draw well, as is commonly believed, but an artist – a real artist - is someone who knows how to look at things with different eyes, one who knows how to go beyond the surface and see things from different points of view. When you ask a person to draw a face, most of the draw a face seen frontally.  An artist knows that a face can also be drawn in profile, three-quarter, seen from above or below etc... thanks to a habit of observing things from different points of view.
The benefit of this ability is that, if part of the way we live every day, it allows us a broader view of everything and, faced with the problems that arise every day, to have a better chance of finding a solution.

C. G. Jung gave us an example of this concept. Suppose that we are on a hill, looking down, and imagine a road and a car travelling along it. At one point, the car turns and disappears from sight. The fact that we no longer see the car does not mean that the car does not exist. The machine exists, we cannot see it because our location prevents us from having a full view.
When we are faced with a problem seemingly without solution, does not mean that there is no solution but that we are looking at the problem from a perspective that does not allow us to see the solution. And what does the art have to do with this?

The art teaches people to look at things from different points of view, art develops the ability to change the viewing position, thus increasing our chances of finding a solution.
